About the products

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Everything I make is vegan and cruelty-free.

What wax do you use?

My candles are hand-poured with natural soy wax, and my wax melts are made with a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax.

Do you use essential oils?

I use fragrance oils that are developed and tested specifically for home fragrance, so they perform well and smell beautiful when burned or melted.

What is Jesmonite?

Jesmonite is a water-based material with a soft, stone-like finish that I use to cast my sculpted pots and candle bowls. Each one is cast, finished and filled by hand in my workshop, so every piece is slightly different.

Can I reuse my Jesmonite pot once the candle has finished?

Absolutely, that's the idea. Once the wax has burned down, gently remove any last bits of wax and use the pot for trinkets, jewellery, keys or dried flowers.

How do I look after my Jesmonite pot?

Just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Please don't put it in the dishwasher. The pots aren't sealed to be waterproof, so I wouldn't recommend using them as a vase or for holding water.

How long do your candles burn for?

It depends on the candle. My 20cl candles in the coloured jars burn for approximately 35 hours, and the scallop candle bowls for approximately 22 hours.

Candle care

How should I look after my candle?

• On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar. This helps it burn evenly every time after.
• Trim the wick to about 5mm before each light.
• Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
• Keep it away from draughts, children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Stop burning when about 1cm of wax is left in the bottom.

Refills

Can I refill my candle or room spray?

Yes. I make candle refills for the 20cl jars (£10) and refills for the 100ml room and linen sprays (£7). There's no need to send anything back, I simply post your refill out to you, so you can keep the jar or bottle you love and enjoy a new scent.

Delivery and returns

How quickly will my order be sent?

Orders are carefully packed and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days, unless the product description says otherwise. Personalised and bespoke items may take a little longer.

How is my order sent and how much is delivery?

Orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, and you'll receive tracking details by email once your order is on its way. Delivery is £3.99, or free on orders of £50 and over.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Not at the moment. I currently ship within the UK only.

Can I return my order?

Non-personalised items can be returned unused and in their original packaging. Just get in touch first and I'll help. Personalised and bespoke items can't be returned unless they arrive faulty or damaged.

What if something arrives damaged?

I'm so sorry if that happens. Please get in touch within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and I'll put it right as quickly as I can.

Gifts and bespoke

Can you send a gift straight to someone?

Yes. At checkout you can enter a different delivery address from your billing address, so your gift goes straight to them.

Do you make personalised or bespoke orders?

Yes, I love making something special, with a personalised label or decal made just for them. Send me a message through the contact page with your idea and when you need it by.
